1. Data controller

The data controller is KVK Media s.r.o., Ruská 48, Prague 10, 101 00, Czech Republic, Company No. 48034991 ("we"). Contact: sales@theatreprompter.com.

2. What data we process

• Account: e-mail, contact person name, theatre/organisation name.
• Billing details: billing address, company number, VAT ID.
• Orders and licenses: purchased license tier, purchase date, transaction identifier.
• Communication: e-mails sent to our support or sales.
• Technical data: cookies and anonymised traffic analytics (only with your consent).

3. Purposes and legal basis

• Providing the service and managing your account — performance of a contract.
• Invoicing and tax documents — compliance with legal obligations.
• Website traffic analytics — your consent (cookie banner).
• Service security and abuse prevention — legitimate interest.

4. Processors and recipients

• Supabase — database and user authentication.
• Payment provider — payment processing; we never see or store your card details.
• Google Analytics 4 — anonymised analytics, active only after consent (Consent Mode v2).
• E-mail services — transactional e-mail delivery.

We do not sell your data to third parties.

5. Data in your application

Scripts, plays and other content loaded into the Theatre Prompter application stay stored locally on your device and are not uploaded to our servers. All rights to that content remain yours.

6. Retention

Account data is kept for as long as your account exists. Invoicing documents are kept for the period required by law. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics settings.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, restrict processing, data portability, the right to object and the right to withdraw consent at any time. You may lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.cz) or your local supervisory authority.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies for sign-in and language selection. Analytics cookies are set only after you give consent in the cookie banner; you can change your choice at any time.
